• If you want to have a peaceful get away Pentre Mawr is the ideal place. We have self-catering suites and cottages with private hot tubs. As well as that this is one of the most beautiful parts of north Wales, set just below the Clwydian hills in an area of outstanding natural beauty!

• It’s the ideal place for couples looking for a romantic break and as such we only offer self catering when we have no weddings or functions, so you’ll always be guaranteed peace and quiet.

• There is wonderful local walking paths both on Pentre Mawr land where we have woods and river and on the Offa’s Dyke path just a mile away. We’re more than happy to welcome your woofs of any size, number or breed. There’s plenty of place for them to run free.

• Pentre Mawr is ideally placed for all you adrenaline Junkies, the biggest zip wire in Europe, Bounce below in the slate mines, explore below (if you’re feeling really brave)and the surfing at Surf Snowdonia with guaranteed waves!!

Special Offer

We’ve a special offer available at the moment for our self-catered African Safari Lodges or Cottage Suites, when booking a two-night stay for two people. All the lodges and suites have huge beds, full-kitchens and a private hot tubs. There are always little surprises as well to make you feel even more welcome.

This offer of £360 for two nights. Extra nights can be added for £100 per night.
